Michael Dobson, President/CEO
- Michael received a B.S. Degree from Bethune Cookman College and his MBA training in Business Finance and Marketing at Florida A& M University, School of Business and Industry.  He has over 20 years of governmental and political experience. In addition, he is a former insurance executive  and founder of Claimpro insurance of Tampa Florida and other successful business ventures.  Michael lobbies both the executive as well as legislative branches of Florida’s government on issues related to renewable energy. Additionally, he has represented clients before Florida’s legislature in the areas of business, economic development, appropriations, transportation, insurance, municipal government and health and human services to name a few. Michael is on the front lines of Florida’s renewable energy dialogue, advocating for better renewable energy policies. He is fully engaged in the renewable industry from the perspective of a developer as well as a policy advocate. As a political consultant to a number of Florida lawmakers and a veteran of many political campaigns, Michael  has developed a keen insight into grassroot political strategies that empower our members.

Cynthia L. Craig, Vice President/Director- Cynthia has over 15 years of public policy experience.  A Florida State University alumn, she earned her masters degree in Political Science from Rutgers University and is currently an FSU doctoral candidate. Cynthia’s professional background as a legislative analyst for both the Florida House of Representatives and Senate, her experience as a legislative and cabinet affairs specialist for the Florida Department of Revenue and work as a congressional aide is invaluable to FREPA. Her understanding of Florida’s legislative process and long-term relationships with committee staff has helped FREPA meet its public policy objectives.
